About NSONA Diaspora

We are registered nonprofit organization in Ghana working across Africa to restore dignity, empower communities, and strengthen collective capacity.

Vision

A world in which every African community, at home and in the diaspora, lives in dignity with safe water and sanitation, quality education, good health, secure livelihoods, empowered young people and a living connection to its cultural heritage, and in which no person is left behind on account of who they are, where they live or what they have.

Mission

NSONA DIASPORA FOUNDATION exists to improve the living standards of less fortunate people and underserved communities in Ghana and across Africa through practical, community-led programmes in cultural integration, household economic security, water and sanitation, educational development, health and youth empowerment.

Our core values

Dignity Inclusion Diversity Equity Integrity

Our philosophy: Ubuntu in governance

We hold that those we serve are our kin, not cases. Inclusion, diversity, and equity are obligations of governance - not aspirations. Every programme is co-designed with communities, and our board reflects the diversity of the people we serve.

Our Programmes

Practical, community-owned interventions that restore dignity and build resilience. Each programme is rooted in Ubuntu and co-created with the communities we serve.

WATSAN

Safe water, sanitation and hygiene. We drill boreholes, build toilets, and promote hygiene in schools and villages.

Education

Scholarships, school supplies, teacher training, and adult literacy - because education is a pathway to dignity.

Health

Mobile clinics, maternal health, nutrition, and health education. We bring basic services to hard-to-reach areas.

Youth Empowerment

Leadership training, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. Young people are not the future - they are the now.

"Every programme is designed, monitored, and evaluated with the community - because we rise together."
